Still in Kedah

I'm still in Kedah. I have finish reading McCarthy's All the Pretty Horses. What can I say, he is another minimalist, just like Hemingway and Carver before him. However, he has given a fresh style to this technique which is very American and seems to fit well with a Western novel like All the Pretty Horses. Its not that violent and brutal as Blood Meridian, but its still a novel worth reading.

Coming back to KL this monday and in the process reading Rushdie's Midnight Children.
