Writers I Would Love to Play Chess

Mr. Borges. The only writer worth playing chess in one's dream. Who knows where he will take me while playing: maybe inside a pyramid, or an Arabian castle with Sheherazade, or inside a sand-clock - the greatest place to play chess. For me, Borges is the architect of dreams. You wouldn't want Kafka designing a chess board in your dream; it would just be too Kafka.

Mr. Sterne. I'm a bad chess player. Mr. Sterne is the only writer I'm confidant I can beat. He will be too busy digressing about his sermons and novels to even notice any of my moves However, one must be prepared that his each move might take hours before they are completed - if they are ever completed - we can never be sure with Mr. Sterne, who is the most whimsical writer in the history of literature.

Sdr Wan: Singgungan Sdr seringnya menukik dan tajam. Saya suka membacanya, walau merangkak dan berkali membuka kamus.

Sdr Marsli: Oh,terima kasih kerana membaca.
